About Terrific Kids
It is our objective as management and staff to provide a warm, caring, educational environment to ensure the physical, emotional and educational growth of children enrolled in Terrific Kids.
All staff members are carefully selected and are people who have a love for children. They are specially trained in early childhood education including college course work. They must have excellent references, provide a criminal background check, and all staff members abide by the health and educational requirements on all local and state levels. All lead teachers have a two year degree in Early Childhood Education. The Administrator has a four year degree in Early Childhood.
Center Policies
This is a tobacco free facility.
Dealing with new playmates and teachers is not always easy for a child. Some crying and separation problems are expected. Please encourage your child to arrive in a positive manner by being positive yourself, and by providing positive reinforcement during this time of transition.
All children must be accompanied by an adult into the center, signed in and out, and handed over to the teacher.
Accidents do occur please make sure your child has a extra change of clothes according to the weather.
In order to have an environment conductive to learning and development, our center must have standards for discipline. We feel that discipline is primarily the parents responsibility. We will keep all parents informed of repeated problems.
